Your presence really made this St. Baldrick\'s the best yet! Everywhere I looked, I observed kids of all ages with looks of awe or smiles on their faces! I hope you could feel the excitement in the air, your presence helped create much of the thrill - Thanks again, I hope you will return next year and help out again!
I\'ve heard from so many people how much they and their children enjoyed all aspects of the entertainment. The event would not have had nearly the color, festivity and joy had you not brought that to us. I will keep you posted on the final numbers but, to date, the entire event has taken in over $3 million. Still furiously tallying the Portland take, but it looks as though we will break $100,000! Will Joe's balloons up & leave him in the dust?
The fine folks (!) over at ABC tv have just released this urgent (possibly not at all related to) Mishkin update (honest!):
"Hello! The Aunt Chippy at the UFO Festival has been re-scheduled to air tonight. Due to power outages at Burbank airport we previously had to delay the segment. Tune-in to ABC tonight at 12:05 a.m. to see Aunt Chippy covering the festival!"
So there you have it. Watch tonight, or - if like Joe's family you have no tv - check back here for the latest! Rest assured, even if somebody just walks by the background wearing one of Joe's balloons - we'll be posting it in the video gallery for generations to enjoy!

UPDATE: Will Joe's balloons be on national tv tonight??
We are all very curious to see if any of Joe's work will be on national television tonight on the Jimmy Kimmel Live show when they air the 'Aunt Chippy' segment they purportedly filmed during the recent UFO Fest in Mcminnville, Oregon!
And to reiterate, Joe himself will not be on tv; there is, however, a slight chance that some of his balloon hats will be visible in the background during taped interviews....
The segment was dropped from last night's show at the last minute, but could very well air tonight! The show starts around midnight on the ABC television network. Cross your fingers, and we'll definitely be keeping you posted! Thanks!

We have absolutely no idea if any of Joe's work will appear during the Jimmy Kimmel Live show on this Monday July 17th when they air the 'Aunt Chippy' segment they purportedly filmed during the recent UFO Fest in Mcminnville, but we sure hope so!!

Holy Cow -- it could be, it might be, it IS -- a busy Summer!!
Oh man - I can't believe how much has been going on this Summer!
I visited with Clark & Ann out at their new, temporary homestead in Talent, Oregon last week; they're doing great. They've already got their clinic Middleway Medicine up & running, and it's a really nice place! Ya'll should check it out next time you're passing through Talent, Oregon with an ailment... 
This was the scene in their back yard. Juggling is the order of the day.
Okay, so they're into serenity, too -- it's a good mix.
Then I went and entertained like a happy madman, or a happyman, or (what would that be called?)... throughout the entire Independence Day Week! Let me tell you, it feels great finally being able to catch up with my journal and my newsletter. That reminds me, I have a newsletter I need to create! Talk with you soon!
