"Among the many things I like about Portland is the vast array of small local businesses and craftspeople. That being said, here are a few I've recently met:
First is the balloon guy, Joe Mishkin. He made the wonderful balloon sculptures at Sand in the Square. He made Lena pink and purple butterfly wings that she played with for days.We finally had to hide them when the balloons started deflating. He was VERY high energy, funny, and sweet with the kids. He even made an extra thick balloon for Pilar...."

Happy New Year!

Cosmic Ozzie Videos are finally in!
Remember way back in July of last year when Joe's band, Cosmic Ozzies played out? Well, we finally got around to converting some of the raw video footage we have into a couple of neat little movies. The best part is that we made them as fairly small files, so they should be accessible to everyone interested!
Also, Joe's audio gallery has been tweaked & improved for your enjoyment. And we're really getting excited about the up & coming release of Not Your Average Radio - where DJ J.(a)M. will be spinning all Cosmic Ozzies all the time -- for those of us who just can't get enough Ozzies! Coming soon! | |
